2020-21 Student Enrollment Survey
We are preparing for next year’s enrollment and would like to know which school your child(ren) will be attending for the 2020-2021 school year. Please complete the 2020-2021 Student Survey by clicking on the headline of this article. Remember to complete one survey per child. It should take less than 5 minutes per child. 5/20 Update from the Plavan Office (Enrollment/Transfers and more!)
Hello Parents and Students in the Plavan Community!
We are excited to share that we have begun processing online enrollment (for Grades K-5) TK notifications went out on May 20 for those that reside in FVSD boundaries. Those on Inter-District "new" Transfers or out of birthdate range will still need to wait to see if approved based on space availability by the District in early June. Please reach out to us via email at plavanoffice@fvsd.us if you have any questions. If you've already completed your registration packet, and were just waiting to bring it to our office, please do your best to email us the documents as long as you feel comfortable doing so. We will do our best to process everything online and get back to you on status, and are reaching out to parents that have already completed the pre-enrollment online portion. We also have a dropbox available at our school office (Please DO NOT use the drop box unless you have been instructed to do so, as documents are not collected daily). We will instruct you when to place documents so we can retrieve them timely. We would prefer to have you submit online for security reasons unless you cannot do so.
Our office phone now has voicemail. If you need to speak us via telephone, and cannot communicate via email, please leave a voicemail message, we will do our best to get back to you. Email is the quickest way to reach our office. plavanoffice@fvsd.us.
TRANSFERS: For renewals, we are working through the ones we have received so far and will be reaching out online to let you know we've received them. For new transfers, we are being told as long as the parent has completed the transfer with their home district, FVSD will be notifying parents in early June of status. If you have not already gotten your transfer from your home district, either new or renewal, we urge you to reach out to your home district by going to their website to see if they will allow you to process your transfer online with them. We have been told all but one of our feeder home districts are allowing online processing of transfers at this time.

FVSD Launching Distance Learning Initiative
In preparation for Distance Learning, FVSD will be distributing Chromebooks for students that do not have devices available at home to use for Distance Learning. TK (Transitional Kindergarten) 2020/21 School Year Enrollment/Interest List Information
To enroll your child in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for the 2020/21 school year, please complete the pre-enrollment interest form link that DOES NOT go LIVE until MARCH 2nd (located on the FVSD.US website under the Parent Tab (Student Registration). Transitional Kindergarten is available at the following school sites: Gisler, Newland, Plavan, Tamura. Parents will not be able to complete their child's enrollment until they have been notified that their child has been accepted into the program. All inquiries regarding the TK Interest List and process should be directed to (FogartyK@fvsd.us).
