A highlight of the concert was the opportunity to see students from all three schools perform together as one combined ensemble. Their blended voices reflected not only months of preparation, but also the strong sense of community that connects FVSD's music programs.
The concert also celebrated the leadership of choir directors Elena MacDonald and Sarah Hughes, whose commitment to music education has helped students develop their vocal skills, confidence, and love of performance. Bringing together singers from three campuses requires extensive planning and coordination, and the evening reflected the care and preparation behind the scenes.
During the program, special recognition was given to the promoting eighth-grade choir students. Each student received a commemorative pin to wear during their promotion ceremony, honoring their years of participation and contributions to their school choir programs.
