Students representing every grade level from Newland Elementary and Plavan Elementary stood before the Board, district leaders, and their families to receive their awards. The highlight of the evening was the heartfelt introductions by their teachers. Each educator spoke about their student’s unique contributions to their school community, sharing specific examples of how they:

These "Lighthouse" students serve as beacons of character and academic excellence, helping to foster a positive school culture at their respective sites. We are so grateful to the families who support these young leaders and to the teachers who took the time to celebrate their growth.
