Welcome

Hello! My name is Sibel Yilmaz. I am proud to say that I am a product of Fountain Valley School District.  I attended Gisler Elementary and then Talbert Middle School.  I went on to receive my teaching degree and credential from CSU Long Beach.  I also have a Master’s degree in Teacher Leadership.  I have taught in FVSD since 2009.  I substituted for a few years before teaching 4th grade at Courreges.  I began teaching 3rd grade at Plavan Elementary in 2013. Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with my family and friends and travel.  I love every moment spent with my husband, my kids (Arda and Alara), and our dog, Buddy!  Life is good!
