23/24 School Year Information for New Families (with newly enrolled students)

Please note: If your child still needs something to complete their enrollment packet,

like up-to-date immunizations, proof of age, enrollment documents, you will need

to turn that in BEFORE you will be given your child's teacher assignment

and before your child can start school on September 6.

 Monday, August 7, 2023: Aeries Parent/Guardian Portal Opens

STUDENT DATA CONFIRMATION is mandatory when enrolled in FVSD.

ALL parents/guardians of new students MUST create their Aeries Portal Parent account and use information sent home in a letter that comes home by August 7, to pull their student(s) into the portal prior to the start of school.

**Parent/guardian contact information is utilized from Aeries including email, address and phone numbers. Information in AERIES MUST BE ACCURATE and agreements marked as read before the start of school. It is NOT necessary to print a paper copy after data confirmation is completed, as was in the past.

 Use a laptop, Chromebook or tablet to access the FVSD Aeries Parent Portal. https://fountainvalley.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx

A letter was sent to your home address with the information you will need to set-up your parent portal.  This information will seem very similar to the Aeries pre-enrollment but we assure you it's a different side of the Aeries system.  You will need your child's student ID, the primary phone number used, and a unique Verification Passcode to your child.  If you did not receive this letter by August 7th, please reach out to the school office via email [email protected] starting August 17 or via phone August 22, (714) 378-4230.

Tuesday, September 5, 2023: Welcome Back Event!

Families are invited to campus for a Welcome Back Event including a campus tour, the purchase of Spirit Wear, sign up for PTA and more. An email will be sent in September with specific details and the time.  It's usually early afternoon. 


Student’s classroom assignments will be available through the Aeries Portal, on Friday, 9/1 at 4:00 PM. August 7th data confirmation is necessary to view the 23-24 classroom assignment.  

Please check the website for bell schedule (school start and end times), breakfast and lunch menus (breakfast served at 10 a.m.) and lunch served at 11:40 a.m. for Gr TK, K, 1, 2 and 12:20 p.m. for Gr 3, 4, 5 is free for all students at this time.
