We will then mail/email you our Kindergarten Round-Up Flyer, TK/Kindergarten Round-up is on February 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Plavan. Enrollment for Kindergarten for the 23/24 school year will not be LIVE on our website until February 24 at Noon. Please do not try to enroll prior to that or your enrollment will be for the wrong school year.

Students are age eligible for Kindergarten if they turn 5 years old by September 1, 2023. Students are age eligible for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) if they turn 5 years old between September 2, 2023 - April 2, 2024. The maximum number of students accepted for TK is 24 at Plavan. TK spots are filled first come first served as follows: 1) FVSD residents within birthdate range, 2) Inter-District Transfer Students with siblings already in attendance, within birthdate range, 3) New Inter-District Transfer students without siblings already in attendance within birthdate range. 4) Students outside birthdate range within the same guidelines related to residency and transfers (based on birthdate).

We are excited that your family is interested in TK/Kindergarten at Plavan Elementary School. We currently have 3 Kindergarten classrooms located in their own wing with their own dedicated restrooms, playground, and covered lunch/snack area. We have 1 TK Classroom located adjacent to our 2 Preschool Classrooms with their own restrooms, lunch/snack area and playground shared only with Preschool.
