We are excited to welcome our students back for another school year! As we prepare for tomorrow, August 28th, I would like to take this opportunity to review important directions and information for a successful first week of school. Please find your student's grade level below and read the directions carefully.
*If you have siblings in multiple grade levels, please drop them off separately for the first 2 weeks of school. After speaking to both teachers (at or after BTSN -Back to School Night), and students are familiar and practiced the process, we can transition to one drop off and pick up location.
Parking:
Parking will be limited the first 2 full weeks of school, so please plan ahead and give yourselves plenty of time. Please consider parking off campus and walking together or carpooling to Plavan.

TK Families:
Drop Off~
1) Park at the 2nd/ESP Lot and walk your child to the TK Gate between (8:00am to 8:13am).
Pick Up~
2) Meet your child at the TK gate at 2:05pm.
*Thursday, August 29th and every Thursday, dismissal will be at 12:45pm at the TK gate.*
**Send an extra set of clothes (shirt/pants) in a ziploc bag in case of an accident.
***Write your student's name with a sharpie on items that may be misplaced or lost (lunch box, backpack, water bottle, clothes)
K Families:
Drop Off~
1) For the first 3 days of school, park at the 1st/Main Lot and walk your child to the K meeting area between (8:00am to 8:13am).
*Starting September 3rd, Kindergarten students will be dropped off at the primary gate and walk to the K gate on their own*
Pick Up~
2) Meet your child & teacher at the Primary Gate at 2:05pm.
*Thursday, August 29th and every Thursday, dismissal will be at 12:45pm at the Primary Gate.*
**Write your student's name with a sharpie on items that may be misplaced or lost (K Bucket, Lunch box, water bottle, clothes)
***When your K student is ready for drive through pick up, please display your Student and Teacher's Name on car dashboard. We will radio your student up to be picked up directly to the vehicle.
1st Grade Families:
Drop Off~
1) For the first day of school, parents can accompany their child to their blacktop classroom lines (same location as "Meet & Greet"). Please park at the 1st Lot or consider parking off campus and walking to the blacktop line between (8:00am to 8:13am).
*1st Grade students will meet their teachers at their blacktop lines for the first three days of school. Starting, Tuesday, September 3rd, 1st Grade students can walk directly to their classrooms between (8:00am to 8:13am).
Pick Up~
2) Meet your child & teacher at the Primary gate at 2:05pm. You can park and walk to the gate or use the drive through turnaround at the main lot.
*Thursday, August 29th and every Thursday, dismissal will be at 12:45pm at the Primary Gate.*
**Write your student's name with a sharpie on items that may be misplaced or lost (Backpack, Lunch box, water bottle, clothes)
***Please display your Student and Teacher's Name on car dashboard. We will radio your student up to be picked up directly to the vehicle.
2nd Grade Families:
Drop Off~
1) For the first day of school, parents can accompany their child to their blacktop classroom lines (same location as "Meet & Greet"). Please park at the 1st Lot or consider parking off campus and walking to the blacktop line between (8:00am to 8:13am).
*2nd Grade students will meet their teachers at their blacktop lines for the first day of school. Starting, Thursday August 29th, 2nd Grade students will walk to their classrooms directly between (8:00am to 8:13am).
**If your 2nd Grade student is ready and comfortable, they can be dropped off using the drop off lane at the 1st lot starting the first day of school.
Pick Up~
2) Meet your child & teacher at the Primary gate at 2:05pm. You can park and walk or use the drive through turn around at the Main Lot.

3rd - 5th Grade Families:
Drop Off~
1) For the first day of school, parents can accompany their child to their blacktop classroom lines (same location as "Meet & Greet"). If your student is familiar with the drop off process and feel comfortable Please park at either lot or consider parking off campus and walking to the blacktop line between (8:00am to 8:13am).
*Upper Grade students will meet their teachers at their blacktop lines for the first day of school. Starting, Thursday August 29th, Upper Grade students will walk to their classrooms directly between (8:00am to 8:13am).
**Most, if not all returning Upper Grade students are ready and comfortable to be dropped off independently starting the first day of school. If so, please drop them off using the drop off lane at the 2nd lot starting the first day of school.
Pick Up~
2) Upper Grade Dismissal is at 2:40pm.
*PLEASE talk and plan with your upper grade student regarding dismissal. Contrary to primary, our teachers will not walk upper grade students to parents for pick up. Discuss specific directions with your upper grade student about dismissal.
