Plavan Community "Meet & Greet" Welcome Event Schedule

Welcome to 2024-2025 School Year.

Tomorrow is first day of 2024-2025!  The purpose of today's Meet & Greet is twofold:

Follow the parking directions below and enter Plavan campus with your child on August 27th by 8:25am. Please locate your child's teacher's names on the signs posted at their meeting location on the blacktop to "Meet & Greet" your child's teacher. 

~TK: Park at 2nd Lot and Meet in TK Play Area

~K: Park at 1st Lot and Meet in Primary Black Top 

~1st - 2nd: Park at 1st Lot and Meet in the Primary Black Top 

~3rd-5th: Park at either Lot and Meet at the Upper Grade Black Top

Here is the timeline for the August 27th- "Meet & Greet"

8:30am - 8:50am: ALL Students welcome to "Meet & Greet" your Teachers @ your blacktop class locations (teacher's names will be posted on cones at the blacktops). Principal Dr. Ham will join Transitional Kindergarten at this time (Brief tour & Directions with TK)

***If you are a returning family to Plavan, you are done at 8:50am at the conclusion of the Meet and Greet. Don't forget to visit our PTO table to say hello and thank you, to join PTO, and get an overview of all the amazing community events scheduled for this year before leaving. 

***If you are a TK family, Dr. Ham would love to say hello and provide a brief exterior tour of our campus (Dr. Ham will join the TK teachers and families @ 8:30am to say hello and provide a brief tour immediately after the Meet and Greet).

****9:15am - 9:45am Kindergarten & New Families, Meet Dr. Ham (School Tour - Primary & sound system needed)

*PTO Table - Membership, Spirit Wear, Calendar of Events, Opportunities to Lead - Table by Front Office

**School supplies will be provided for our students. Parents can drop off voluntary classroom donations during the Meet and Greet.
