Book fairs are held twice a year – in September and May. Volunteers are needed to help set-up, cleanup and run the book fair.

Yearbook //

Our Plavan Yearbook serves as a time capsule, recording the school year’s events through the eyes of the students and teachers. Our Yearbook Committee is our school historian and is responsible for taking photos of school and PTO events. Volunteers for this committee are to handle layout, production, printing and distribution of our book.  Orderering is all done online and forms will go home in late Spring.  Yearbooks are delivered to student classrooms for those that have pre-purchased them, when they arrive in late June before school is out.  Time will be set aside for students to get friend's and teacher's signatures.  E-mail any related questions to [email protected]

As a room representative, you will serve as a liaison between your classroom’s teacher, parents and other PTO representatives. You will also assist teachers on planning class parties as desired by teacher.

Dine Out Nights //

PTO sponsors monthly dineout nights at various local restaurants periodically usually the 3rd week of the month on a Wednesday or Thursday.  A message is sent home by Parent Square, on Peachjar and a flyer is sent home in Monday envelopes.
